my trip to holland
A co-worker recently sent me an article by Emily Perl Kinglsey entitled Welcome to Holland. It was written with the experience of raising a child with a disability in mind, but I found the analogy she used applicable to our current situation - not being able to have a child - as well.
You can find a copy of the article here. It is quite short, and markedly poignant, no matter which way you happen to exist outside of the norm.
Thanks for posting the article. I am a holland gal too right now, hopefully someday I will make it to italy, and I hope you get there too. I am going to use this with my sunday school cass.

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed reading it.
ReplyDeleteIt took us 6 months to get our JJ, I know you have probably been trying since you lost yours last year..wow..it was over a year ago? and I am sorry. Don't know how you do it but it is worth it in the end. try to enjoy holland while you are there, but remember sometimes there's a connecting flight to Italy.
