Thanks, Mr. Clean!

It's super keen

To have baby's room all done

Now all we need 

Is baby freed

From my belly (which weighs a ton).

I didn't take a picture of the changing table, but it's from the same series as the crib and dresser. 

We'll still be adding a grouping of paper lanterns (unlit) in blues and greens in the corner over the rocking chair at some point, but until after our little guy makes an appearance, I think I'm done.  

I'd be remiss if I didn't offer a huge thank you to Mr. Clean for putting all of the furniture together while I sat on the floor, fiddled around with twist ties and arranged piles of screws according to size (that's helping, right?).  We've hung on to this set since 2009 and almost given it up several times.  I'm glad we never followed through, because it's very cathartic to see it finally assembled! 

And now, a brief moment of silence for our beautiful nursery-that-was-to-be back home, complete with the boxed up furniture.  

r.i.p. nursery that was to be...you ended up exactly how I pictured you would turn out!

 I am sure the current tenants and their kids are enjoying it, and that makes me happy.
